On the Medtec Europe 2015 in Stuttgart MeKo presents innovative processes from 21st to 23rd of April 2015. Please visit our stand 7C21 in hall 7.
For more than 20 years MeKo has produced medical components with particularly high requirements regarding exact measurements and quality for its customers. Thanks to the experience gained over time and the close cooperation with its partners it has created numerous innovative procedures. MeKo is going to present them at Medtec Europe in Stuttgart - hall 7, stand 7C21.
After optimising its production procedures MeKo is able to produce cuts and holes from 10 µm with an accuracy of measurement of ± 5 µm. Medical products, such as for example stents, can be manufactured using various types of material - apart from stainless steel and Nitinol, they can also be made using bioresorbable substances like magnesium and polymers. After cutting the components can be processed further in specially developed finishing processes like electropolishing, annealing, cleaning and final inspection.
MeKo puts a special focus on research and development. Many in-house developments provide the MeKo customers with the necessary cutting edge. Resoloy® enables them for example to use a unique and free to use magnesium alloy to produce resorbable stents. VASCULOY® is a nickel and cobalt-free alloy with optimum material characteristics for cardio-vascular implants. Surface modifications such as ModiSurf+ further improve the adhesion of the coating of components. LowElast optimises the crimp behaviour of L605 stents.
