Recertification

ISO 13485:2016 and 9001:2015

We are pleased to inform you that this year, MeKo has been recertified not only in ISO 13485, the internationally recognized standard for quality management in medical technology, but also once again in ISO 9001. The ISO 9001 certification affirms the high quality and efficiency of our general business processes, which is particularly relevant for our MetalWorks division, focused on manufacturing high-quality industrial components.

Additionally, we have transitioned our certification body from ECM to DQS, ensuring that our certifications meet the highest standards of reliability and recognition. This change allows us to maintain both ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certifications with a DAkks-accredited certifying organization, highlighting our commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards across all our areas of operation.

Tradeshows 2024 and 2025

That’s why personal exchanges with your key contact can make all the difference when discussing your project. We warmly invite you to visit us on-site to experience our work firsthand. However, since this isn’t always possible, we bring MeKo closer to you.

In 2024, we participated in 10 international MedTech tradeshows, connecting with clients worldwide - from Tokyo to Düsseldorf to San Jose. In November, for instance, we showcased our expertise at COMPAMED/MEDICA, the leading global medical technology fair, and MEDevice Silicon Valley, together with our U.S. representatives. With numerous new sample parts to see and touch, we presented various manufacturing techniques for components such as stents, heart valve frames, and hypotubes.
