Driving Safety Training

Sudden braking. Slippery roads. A split-second decision.

Safe driving depends on more than just experience – it requires practice and awareness. That’s why many of our employees took part in a professional driving safety training at the ADAC Fahrsicherheitszentrum Hannover/Laatzen, fully funded by the Berufsgenossenschaft Holz und Metall (BGHM). From compact cars and pickup trucks to classic vehicles – everyone brought their own car and pushed it to its limits. Slalom runs, emergency braking, driving through tight curves and circular tracks helped deepen understanding of vehicle behavior.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: testing braking distances under real conditions – with summer, winter, and all-season tires on different road surfaces. The results spoke volumes about how much tire choice and road conditions matter.

Next month, we have booked a motorcycle safety training as well – where risk awareness and control can be even more critical. We’re proud to offer these trainings every two years because safety doesn’t happen by accident.
